The Champion and the Child [Thalia]

She had arrived in Sinnoh only a few weeks ago. On foot, she had made slow progress, but the kind help from passersby that could give her a lift in their vehicle made her weary travels less stressful. The young red-head had managed to travel from Oreburgh all the way to Lake Valor. She was tired, though. The rainy weather of Pastoria had blown all the way to the Lake, and currently prevented the girl from moving any further.

She'd curled up beneath a tree with particularly thick leaves and branches, allowing the shaded area directly beneath it to remain shaded and dry. As an added bonus, her Bronzong was kind enough to hover above her head, the open bell at the bottom of its blue metallic body acting similar to an umbrella for its young owner.

"Thank you, Shield." she said, glancing up at the pokemon. "Will you be okay like that for a while?" It replied with a quiet, echoing sound that she took as a 'yes' "Mind if I rest some?" It made a similar sound. "Okay...thanks..." She laid down on her side in the soft, aromatic grass, hands tucked beneath her chin as she stared out at the lake, watching the rain splash in the water.

It may not have been too desirable of a situation, but at least it was calming listening to and watching the rain."
