A lovely city surrounded by rich greenery, Viridian City's now surrounded by a high and seemingly insurmountable wall on all sides. It's now a fully fortified military base, stocked full of Lux's brightest recruits, each one of them eager to see the frontlines. The city's full of officers and veterans to run an arduous but rewarding boot camp, easily the best (but also only) military academy in the world.

The forest has been tamed. Despite its size, it's now a massive garden, every tree and bush painstakingly manicured and sculpted just so. Nothing's ever out of place, and the entire forest is now a showcase for Lux's control over nature itself, but no one can deny that the sight isn't beautiful to behold.

A former mining city has become an arms manufacturing city, although the mines are still open and operating. The best rifles and shotguns in the world come from Pewter City, and everyone knows they make impressive handguns as well. Inventors in Pewter City are always busily at work, developing the latest tank or the strongest grenade, and they're always extra careful to make sure Nox never steals any of their patents.

Rock Tunnel is an underground passage that is enveloped in pitch black darkness. A strong, penetrating light is necessary to travel safely through it's treacherous maze. This tunnel ultimately leads to Lavender Town. Rock Tunnel shelters a LUX-operated prison camp for suspected NOX criminals, where captives are forced to live in perpetual darkness, the life slowly leached out of them by the resident zubat. Executions of captured NOX soldiers are also carried out within the confines of this heavily-guarded camp.

Brightly lit and excavated, Mt. Moon is now a thriving colony of scientists, engineers,and astronomists, all searching for the secret of the clefairies and the moon stone. Their assumption is that the clefairies had a spacecraft crafted of moonstone, and the researchers hope to develop such a spacecraft for human use. While they have been making surprising progress toward space travel, a recent Nox saboteur has caused a great deal of data to be lost.

Cerulean City's once sparkling river has turned a putrid brown from the toxic waste from the manufacturing and researching of Pewter City and Mt. Moon. The citizens aren't happy about this, but Lux stands firm that their weapons development is more important than the environment. A history of protest and cynicism has caused many Sentinels to keep Cerulean under close watch, but each day it slips a little further out of Lux's grasp.

The great bulk of Lux's war fleet docks at Vermillion City, and the city itself has become a proving ground for sailors that want to join the navy. The dock area tends to be full of drunk seamen, but away a distance, there's every breed of soldier and agent preparing to depart for their next assignment. The city's found a surge in population, boosted by mothers and wives waiting for their loved ones to return home from abroad.

Home of the Pokemon Tower, Lavender Town's become the center of propaganda. While the Pokemon Tower still transmits radio and tv shows, the lower levels are dedicated to censorship, where anything that wants publishing needs to be approved before it sees the light of day. The townsfolk see themselves as a creative hub of literature and art, where culture is preserved and praised. Much propaganda features the mass graves of Mr. Fuji's house, where Lux heroes rest.

A huge, commercial city, Celadon City is the pride and joy of Lux's new word order. The idea was that wealth and decadence should be shared, but instead the poor and homeless were thrown out or simply disappeared, never to be seen again. Only the wealthiest live in Celadon City now, along with their retinues, and they're all very pleased with Lux's reign.

Perhaps the safest place in the world right now, Fuchsia City is strangely overrun with troops, and the simple explanation is that it takes a lot of soldiers to guard the safari zone's expansive perimeters. Very few people know that Fuchsia City is the headquarters of Lux's secret police, and many of their most valuable files are held there, far away from the Indigo League, for safekeeping.

This free-for-all tourist attraction has now been closed and reclaimed in the name of Lux. Heavily guarded from the inside out, regulations are strict, and it's hard for anybody to go in and out without being caught on the surveillance cameras hidden throughout the various buildings that were once 'rest stops' for the eager contesters. In the heart of the Safari zone, where the warden once stood, now lies a massive storage of pokeballs that are guarded by Lux soldiers around the clock. While technically part of Fuschia City, the location is fortified enough to serve as a backup outpost in case Fuschia ever falls.

Once a golden city, Saffron City has seen more glorious days. If Celadon City's lower class weren't murdered, they were sent to Saffron, where there's inadequate housing for everyone. This city is Lux's greatest shame, and crime runs rampant as downtrodden masses try to solve their own problems. The city has nearly completely slipped out of Lux control, as Sentinels forsake the troubled city and leave mob justice to rule.

Beneath the ash and smoke of a recently-deactivated Cinnabar Volcano, Nox has begun amassing in greater and greater numbers. As eruptions have stopped blanketing the isle, Cinnabar has gone from Nox's hiding place to a legitimate base of operations. Menacingly close to Kanto's shores, it is only a matter of time before a true Nox assault spills over.

Once a Lux scientific outpost, harsh fighting and Lux flight have granted Nox a confusing mess of traps, weaponry, and half-destroyed blueprints. Cracking this oyster to get at its scientific pearls has been integral to the Nox war effort. Now armed with secrets Lux never wanted them to see, Kanto Nox has finally gained the momentum needed to turn this war around.

Piracy and isolation used to be the law of the land for the Sevii Islands, a tense ally of Lux's. However, President Blaine has grown tired of the lawless pirates and sees the islands they occupy as integral to the Lux cause. As Blaine tries to grasp more control of the islands for monetary and research potential, a clash is inevitable.

Home of the Pokemon League, where many Lux bureaucrats, officers, and sentinels busily handle the nitty-gritty of running an empire. The President's home can be found here, the famous Indigo House, which is painted white. The Indigo House's front lawn is immactulate, save for a sign reading BEWARE OF SECRETARY. Since the loss of their island bases to Nox Indigo has redoubled its security, leaving many other cities less protected.
