Home of the Basic Badge, Aspertia is the oft overlooked place where legends begin, but it is more than just a stepping stone toward Championhood. It is a place of learning for all who wish to know what it truly means to become a Pokemon master, boasting a large training academy that looks to preserve training culture, even as the fog of war draws ever nearer.

A small, peaceful town once known for it's rolling hills and gentle breezes, Accumula is a former hotspot for Team Plasma's push for the liberation of all Pokemon. However, recent political tensions have brought all public demonstrations to a halt, leaving an eerie sort of silence in their wake as the residents await the coming storm.

A port city with a nest of hangars, docks, and waterways, Virbank's industrious nature makes it one of the crown jewels of Unova, second only to Castelia. However, energy and ships are not all that Virbank boasts. Doubling as a music hall, the Virbank City Gym has been known to host, nuture, and produce some of the best musicians in the region.

Two is company, but three is a crowd. Apparently, the leaders of the Striation City Gym missed the memo. Thankfully, Striation has room enough for all sorts, and the means to accomodate them. A large botanical garden complete with a fountain for nature lovers and those seeking a place of peace in these tumultous times, and a path to the much talked about Dream Yard for those interested in the strange and unusual.

The Dreamyard is the site of a once world renowned research facility dedicated to creating and harnessing a new source of clean energy. For several years it has lain in ruins, but no longer. A donation from a mysterious benefactor has spurred new interest in rebuilding this once-busy facility, and restarting the project that led to it's demise so many years ago. The only obstacle: the Musharna that that inhabit the area aren't taking kindly to the thought losing their home. Unwanted guests are often struck by terrifying hallucinations and, as a result, many of those contracted to rebuild the facility are currently on strike.

One of the agricultural hearts of Unova, Floccessy Town is home to both a large ranch that boasts several different kinds of domesticated livestock, and the region's champion, whose fierce protectiveness and sensibility has helped the area flourish.

Said to be the city where trends are set, Nacrene has an eclectic mix of art galleries, museums, coffee shops, and warehouses that have long since been forgotten. Perhaps the war will force the people of Nacrene to find some clever use for them. In addition to this, the University of Unova resides here, providing a comfortable environment for scholarly pursuits.

Trees, like dead men, tell no tales. This has lately become the motto of those who utilize the large forested area under the cover of darkness, plotting to spread lies and libel, and betting on possibilities with as many outcomes as the forest has twists and turns. By day, however, the forest is a friendly spot for the region's newer trainers, and a sanctuary for those looking to get a bit too friendly with the area's bug pokemon.

The region's melting pot, Castelia City is more than just a bustling metropolis filled with skyscrapers and an army of dive bars, it is the birthplace of ideas and an economic powerhouse. Despite the threat of war reaching their shores, the ports and businesses of Castelia continue to thrive, and it's people hold true to their ways, having adopted a strong neutral position. Unsurprisingly, many a political movement has been birthed here, and it currently serves as the capital of The Republic.

Entertainment is the name of the game in Nimbasa City. Here, the world is lit by twinkling neon lights, and the fun lasts for hours. Boasting the largest themepark in the region, Nimbasa offers entertainment for the whole family in the form of rides, food, games, street performers, live music, and an active nightlife, making it an ideal place to escape from the harsh realities of war.

While it may be the third smallest city in the region, Anville Town is not without it's uses. Supplies travel back and forth on the many cargo trains that stop in the town's station, making it an invaluable locale despite it's overall size...just don't expect any of them to be on time.

Don't let the colorful sails fool you, Driftveil's harbor is frequented by far more than just a handful of sailboats and the people that love them, it also serves as a place to move goods to and from Unova. The city also boasts a large open-air market along the waterfront, and a small mystery to be solved in the form of small craters that have begun appearing along the shoreline.

Positioned directly between three mountain ranges, it may be a good thing that the peoples of Mistralton City decided to take to the skies. That's right, Mistralton has one of the largest airfields in Unova, making it a central hub for the importation and exportation of goods from overseas.

Often described as inhospitably frigid all year round, Iccirus City is often blanketed by snow. The locals, however, see the temperature as a test of strength, and most have grown accustomed to it. The southernmost tip of the city has been dedicated to the harnessing of the wind via large turbines.

Moving forward: this has been the motto of Opelucid since the city's founding, and it has yet to disappoint. Opelucid City currently houses several active research facilities in addition to serving as the birthplace for much of the region's latest technology. Recently, rumors have been circulating that several of the city's facilities have begun devloping advanced weaponry in the name of the new republic.

Located near a massive chasm often mined for both ore and stories, Lacunosa is a town steeped in old legends. One such legends states that this quiet town was once home to a monster that feasted on flesh and bone. While the residents claim that they have since moved beyond such old superstitions, their tight schedules and curfews betray their fear.

The sun, sea, and sand are the only rulers of this popular vacation spot. Come rain or shine, the town is always full of those looking to escape from the drudgeries of everyday life, making it a great place for those looking to turn a profit. It is even rumored that several members of the Elite Four have summer homes here, but we're not telling

Only accessible by plane, it is rumored that a number of shady government dealings have been going on here but, with it's limited access, no one can say for sure. When not used for secret meetings, it often serves as a roost for champions and fighters.

Come feel the sun on your skin and the wind in your hair at Humilau City, another fairly popular destination for those looking for a bit of rest and relaxation. Be sure to visit the boardwalk for a some of the region's most famous fries, and try a few games at one of the many arcades that line the way.

Dubbed the 'city that never sleeps,' Black City has the liveliest nightlife of any city in the region - trends are set , clubs are visited, and trysts are begun here, and the city is contstantly seeking to improve itself. As a result, it is often said that you can find three seasons here: summer, winter, and construction.

It is said that those looking to harm the forest or it's denizens are barred from entering by a mysterious force and, given the small number of those who have been able to find their way into the confies of the forest, it may well be true. This has allowed the pokemon within to live in peace and harmony, as nature intended.
