The final resting place of the spirits of innocent pokemon that had died and parted from this world. Erika had spent the larger portion of the morning in the tower honoring her departed pokemon. The pokemon that she’d spent her days with as a child had passed on. They were the pokemon of her parents, but she felt as though they wre her own. Her parents had not left their house in years, ever since Lux took control, so Erika was left to honor the pokemon of the family. She didn’t mind the task, she even saw it as her duty. A beautiful lily was selected from the florist’s shop in Celadon and carefully transported to Lavender Town as the kimonoed Gym Leader traveled. After sharing her thoughts with the spirits of the pokemon, she placed it atop the stone marking her family’s pokemon tomb in the tower and bid the spirits farewell, hoping they would remain at peace despite the war. It was sad, really, to think that any day her own pokemon could join those that were departed, but Erika clung to the hope they would not. The air of Lavender Town was heavy and gloomy. Truly, it was unnerving in the sense that it felt as though the mood of the town was always reflected in the weather – overcast gray skies that rarely let light through. And rain was also common. ”Oof!” Erika looked up as a drops of water fell onto her head. It appeared the weather was reflecting her thoughts. At least I have an umbrella. Unfolding the item immediately, she got it above her head just in time for the rain to pick up.
