The Mamoswine and Metagross stood on opposite sides from each other, Susi on the other end of the small clearing. " Ready, Susi? " He called to the Lucario, a slight nod coming from the canine. A nod in return from Riley himself, before Susi pulled his arms back, paws about a foot apart before a ball of energy started to glow. An Aura Sphere, something that Susi may have perfected as a move, but not to Riley's wanted level. Blue eyes watched the canine type pokemon, narrowing slightly as he tilted his head slightly, the ball of aura between his companion's paws glowing.
The ball moved quickly across the clearing, nearly missing Rauta's head. A slow breath escaped Riley as he watched the sheepish look come over Susi's face, shaking his head slightly at the pokemon as he brushed a hand under his hat, rubbing his forehead slightly. " Alright. That wasn't bad. We can work on it. Don't get down on yourself, alright? " He told the Lucario as he walked towards the pokemon, hands slipping into his pockets for a moment. Susi glanced away, grumbling softly to himself. Riley grinned at the pokemon, patting his head gently. " Cheep up, Sus. That's enough for today. You can practice with Aja in a bit. " He said, pulling out the pokeball for the Medicham and releasing her. A blank look was on the pokemon's face as she glanced around, before focusing on the Lucario, all but dancing over to the canine.
Riley smirked slightly before turning to walk back from the clearing, hopping up onto a rock that looked over the bigger clearing at the base of the mountain, closing his eyes for a moment. His thoughts were rapidly switching between various things, between finding Feliks on the beach, and thoughts that came with the red-head, along with keeping his thoughts in line around Lucie, he'd rather the girl not have to worry.
