Well it seemed like Red was the last person anyone would see roaming around. The other girl's answer pretty much confirmed that much. Though, now that Kirs was here, she seemed like she was interrupting them. Luckily Kirs was able to take care of that. "Yeah, we all just met right now, so there wasn't really anything being interrupted anyway."

Soon Kirs asked him what he was doing in town, which made him panic a bit inside a tiny bit. How could he tell them that he was here because of bad dreams? It sounded silly in his head anyway, what would they think of him? "Uh, well I just came to pay my respects. From what I heard, Pokemon seem to be dying more frequently, and the cause isn't old age." he said, trying to add a tone of concern to his voice to make himself seem believable.

What Aris said was true, as long as this war went on, more and more people were bound to get hurt one way or another. Yet now was hardly the time to really think about that, right now they should at least try to get their minds off of it. When Aris asked if Red knew her family's name, he tried to think. As far as he knew, he never heard of the Verstons before while in Saffron City. "Uh, sorry, can't say I've heard of that family before..." he said as he walked with them into the tower. As he stepped through he decided to cook up just a bit of small talk for them all, "So, anything interesting happen around Kanto? I don't really follow daily news and such." It was small talk after all.
