[/justify][/blockquote][/blockquote]It had been far too long since Clair had last visited the Dragon's Den. What had it been, one month? Perhaps even longer? So long... The sacred Dragon's Den had been the site of reconstruction efforts recently since the battle that had ripped it apart. Her heart had ached with it's destruction, and her anger at Nox had practically reached a sky-high.
There is nothing I can do right now, though. she thought, shaking her head and exhaling forcefully. Giving the black rims of one of her gloves a final tug, she pushed the doors of her Gym open, exiting the long-standing structure and making her way to the north end of the town with a strong stride.
Her cape billowed behind her as a powerful gust of springtime wind raced down the side of mountain containing Ice Path. Normally, civilians were the ones helping with the reconstruction effort in the Dragon's Den, as well as architects that had been brought in to help construct the memorial. The idea of the Dragon's Den being converted to something other than a quiet, sacred home of dragons did not sit calmly with Clair. However, she had not spoken out against it, figuring she would adapt easily enough in due time.
Her blue, heeled shoes sank into the sand at the edge of water as she stared out across it, towards the dark entrance of the Den. Clair had heard that as of recently, the dragons seemed disturbed and upset, possibly because their tolerance for the changes to their home was finally dissolving. That was the only thing that pulled her out of her Gym today. She wanted to see to it that the Dragons within were alright.
Placing her hands on her hips, she looked out across the water, thinking of the best way to deal with any situation that came up before actually entering.
