Feeling A Bit Burnt Out: Nox and Lux Mission 37

Alright, to get the basic gist of things settled, an injured Nox member is hiding out in Ecruteak's Burned Tower. Lux members want to clear the place out to re-use the tower as a hospital, and Nox wants to bail out the injured Nox POW before Lux can find him there.

How are we kicking this off and who'll be starting?

Right, so I am offering Bertha as the Lux(or one of) trying to clear out the tower. I think you can predict the whimsy from here.

Well considering it's Lux territory perhaps, the Nox members are trying to sneak in? while the Lux member(s) are also coming in at the same time to try and take care of any wild pokemon. They sort of meet at the same time and commence the drama?

Couldn't one of you be the injured Nox? Since a mod-controlled one is kind of a pain. Anyway, I don't mind Bertha joining in. She happens to be an officer/sent? Joshua is just a cit and I imagine he's just joining to help people since it's supposed to be just them using the tower for injured soldiers. Don't worry about being outnumbered that's just part of the war. Joshua will...well, it depends xD but he'll mostly just be in defensive and get the people to safety if you guys decide to stir trouble openly.

Hmmm, I am assuming that, since she is an Elite Four, that Bertha is an officer. She'll be getting rid of the wild pokemon in the tower before running into the team of Nox, thus creating epicness.

sup, here's your third lux. lia's a pretty radical lux officer who chills with ghosts and talks to a spirit in her mind. if it's clear the other people in the tower are nox, she's liable to try to kill them all. added suspicion since the tower's supposed to be abandoned anyway, and civilians prolly wouldn't wander in normally.

did we decide on an injured nox yet? v: if it's gonna be one of the nox peeps, npc, someone else, etc?

anyway, uh, how to start the thread. like edge said, nox members will prolly be trying to sneak in since it's a lux town. was thinking either lux members could start with like one post each to set the scene and take out wild pokes? then the nox peeps could post, find the injured guy, then try to get him out only to unfortunately bump into the lux peeps? and then we can take it from there lol. /shruggu

This is Eulalie. Since we had trouble finding an actual POW, and you guys seemed to want a PC rather than an NPC, the Noxies are apparently saving a popstar.

Not entirely sure why she's injured. Nox gives a shit because she has Nox sympathies. Feasibly, some of her songs were a little too critical on Lux and she's taken a scolding, so now she's run off to hide in the Burnt Tower of all places. Definitely taking suggestions on this.

Crazy lux paparazzi chased her, or some drunk threw a bottle at her. She's a popstar lol, maybe she ended up needing to hide from her fans or something xD

And yeah, maybe shit happened to Eules and I think Nox cares for her since she's a popstar. Everybody loves celebrities. Maybe she's hiding her identity right now in the tower because if Lux finds it, she...might be taken away for questioning! Or something. That means Joshua and Liadan can get to interact with her and if Terran and Edge wants to get her out, they'd have to be discrete about it!

Not sure what Bertha would do aside from being A REALLY COOL OLD LADY but I guess she's in charge of the tower? IDK She and Liadan are both officers. Joshua is just a ranger volunteering.

Regardless, would be cool if one of the Lux starts? To establish the peaceful situation in the tower?

Yeah, she's supposed to be a fail trainer. (On the other hand, she's packing a draco meteor, but if she used that on the tower, there might not be a tower left anymore.) I'll run with... she fled some Lux diehards that didn't like her lyrics, hid out in the tower, and now she's cowering from a bunch of zubats or something. Because, y'know, some people are kinda lame like that.

I can start, actually, if none of the Lux can/if they don't mind.

The question now is should the Nox enter first or the Lux? My Smiles opinion is the Nox enter first since it will be harder for them to enter if Lux does.

Also, Bertha would be happy to lead the Burnt Tower effort(it's something she would do). Though she can also just be there supporting it and keeping guard over the team, as she would be the first to attack Nox opposition.

I think Lux first so we could establish the atmosphere. It's not like we're aware there's a celebrity among us and it might be fun if we get to interact with Eules here. WE WANT TO HAVE OUR GRUBBY HANDS ON A CELEBRITY >8U

Maybe me and Liadan first rping with Eules? Since Bertha's being the guard, Terran and Edge could go through her first. Whatever methods they do is up to them.

Agreed with Lux setting the atmosphere, and I think it'd be fun for Nox peeps to try to sneak in there or brute force it or whatever anyway. c: Though skimming through the thread, it sounds like Eules would be recognizable, disheveled or not, so I dunno if they wouldn't figure out her identity or not? v: I'm cool either way though really; I think the situation would end up interesting whether Lux peeps figure out who she is or not c:
