"I hadn't even said a word. I don't think she wanted me here to start with," Rylan grumbles. He's totally making this shit up but the fun part is for once he's actually totally right. How often do I get to put 'right' and 'rylan' in the same sentence without a 'not' in between? Not often enough. Anyway yeah, Rylan's shit throwing, because he could be this new guy's torture buddy and obvs he'd be better than a woman, yeah?
"I don't want to be any trouble, I'd just hate for this to be a wasted trip." He finds a spoon. Stirs. Still not eating. He wants an excuse to get away from this man before he starts in on his meager little meal. "But if you don't mind having a word with her... As long as it won't cause problems between you two." Still need to find out if they're screwing before he inadvertently goes after someone who's already claimed. "It's Rylan."
