[cs=2] FULL NAME With a penchant for changing his identity, he's cycled through his fair share of names: Cosmo, JJ Walker, Simon Sez, Leo Vinci. His most recent alias is Finnegan von Flint, or Finn for short. His first (and arguably therefore his truest) name was Alex Bell. BACKGROUND Even without the war, Finn's already got some unusual experiences under his belt. Some 19 years ago on December 19, a newly wed couple welcomed their first son into their small family in Azalea Town. One year later, another child followed suit. These were, of course, Alex Bell and his little sister. They were close. She was his shadow, and he enjoyed having a sidekick in his youthful ventures. Even as a little kid, he was a magnet for trouble. Or he couldn't stop looking for it. Their parents disapproved of their daughter following in his footsteps, but their concerns were largely ignored. Then one day, things came to a head when eleven year old Alex brought his sister along on adventure into Ilex Forest without their parents. When, they came across an Ursarine and a Teddiursa, it was Alex's idea to lure the little bear Pokemon away so they could take it home. His plan worked...right up until the Ursarine realized its cub was missing and gave chase. Two children could hardly outrun the fully evolved Pokemon. By the time adults arrived, it was too late. The Teddiursa was returned, the Ursarine gone, the boy trying to carry his mauled sister back home. Knowing his parents blamed him and unable to face her, he ran away from home not too long afterwards despite his own (comparatively less severe) injuries. When he came across a half-empty bottle of black hair dye in a trash can, he put it to use as a precaution in case his parents sent people searching for him. He dubbed himself Cosmo and took to his life as a street kid with unusual enthusiasm. He was a thief and a pickpocket, relying at first on luck and unwary passerby until he became increasingly proficient in the art. At 12 years old, his quick fingers nabbed him a Pokeball with a Ditto inside, he took it a step further. Cosmo, after befriending the stolen blob, exploited his new companion's transformative powers to con other trainers--by having Sherlock transform into other Pokemon they passed, he would then approach another with an offer for a trade. If it was accepted, he used sleight of hand to instead secretly swap out Sherlock's Pokeball and hand over an empty one. Needless to say, Cosmo never lingered in one place long...especially when Lux came around with all its new rules. Sometime in his 14th year, a travelling circus troupe caught his interest. He was enthralled after just one show. With nothing holding him back, he begged to join their numbers--but not as Cosmo, the inconspicuous pilferer. No, he was JJ Walker, the flaming redhead who dressed as though colorblind. Impressed by the teenager's talent with deception, they took him on as an apprentice of sorts for their magician's sideshow. He was an eager member of the troupe, a quick learner. Unfortunately, "JJ"'s stint with the circus lasted less than 2 years. He was the type of guy who liked to mess with things that really shouldn't be messed with, and one of the ones that he took a liking to was knife throwing. Then there was a certain...accident in one of the cities they stopped in when a fan wanted to see some tricks outside of a show. JJ wisely took that as a sign to leave. Next came Simon Sez, blonde 16-year old who lied about his age to get a job as a janitor at a fast food place. This time he lasted even shorter than in the circus. He convinced a tired fry cook to take a break and let him take over in the meantime. Which he did, and started a fire as a result when he locked himself in the freezer by accident while getting more patties. His short-lived career went up in flames along with the stove. The teen thus returned to his aimless wandering and pickpocket habits until he wound up in none other than Saffron City. There, a certain Leo Vinci with dark green hair and an apparent love for suits found himself a low-ranking lackey in a gang. In case you haven't noticed a pattern by now, the guy managed to find a way to mess things up yet again. Eager to win a name for himself and impress the boss, Leo decided he could do just that by providing extra goods for the group's underhanded businesses. What better way than to intercept another mob's delivery? He might have gotten away with the hijacked Pokemon, guns, and some drugs had he not been seen. His interference sparked a gang war that had to be broken up by Lux guards. Leo was arrested after said incident, but not for very long. He launched a successful escape attempt, having let his Ditto run off with another Pokeball sometime during the fight. When his pink accomplice returned and released the Voltorb within, an Explosion was all it took the blast a gaping hole in the building. As luck would have it, some of the other prisoners who escaped thanks to Leo's plot included a pair of Nox members who had not yet been transferred to a more secure prison. Over 17-years old, with nowhere to go and nothing better to do, Leo tagged along with the two. He's been with Nox ever since after shedding his gang-affiliated face in exchange for the mask-sporting Finnegan von Flint. OCCUPATION With his wide range of skills picked up from his many ventures--stealing, lock-picking, fast-talking, magic tricks, lying through his teeth, knife throwing (accuracy not guaranteed), serial careerism, improvising--Finn's a jack of many trades. He's had his stint on the battlefield, but after the Johto ceasefire he somehow got his hands on a violin. Back in his childhood days he was actually a rather talented with it and now plays as a street musician...when he's not too busy gallivanting that is. ALLEGIANCE Nox. Right, like Lux would even want a guy like him other than behind bars. He's not exactly the type to follow rules either. TRAITS
