[/size]Wallace let out a chuckle, walking alongside Steven. They were most probably being watched right now yet they would continue talking in complete secureness. They could not be daunted at this point. The evidence left on the black sphere was a a challenge they accepted. Perhaps it was the mark of a Pokemon Trainer to always take on challenges even if it were wading through the dark.
"Go on, Daigo," he urged, whipping an arm toward the door. "I'm listening. [Hydro Pump]!"
Majorelle blasted the double doors down. Not even its lock and material could stand against the blow of the Hydro Pump. Not many believed it was possible for water to be so destructive and it wasn't really in Wallace's style either to battle in such a way. War had reawakened the need for aggression on his side.
He let Majorelle enter first. Wallace followed, his suspicions no longer of any use. Not even a single alarm was triggered when the door was blasted. He scanned the lobby absorbed within the darkness. He mentioned wading through the dark but he didn't mean it literally.
"Watch your step," he commented lightly, walking through the wet floor. "You don't suppose they were planning to welcome us with a firework display to keep the entire building poorly lit?" He placed a hand on his hip, looking up, unable to see even the ceiling. He narrowed his eyes. "...maybe some sparks instead. Majorelle!"
Quickly, Wallace slid a foot back and dropped one knee down, one arm on it. Majorelle jumped back in front of Wallace and raised his steel wings as a makeshift shield. Bullets bounced harmlessly off his wings although they were sure to leave a burn of the fur.
"Hmph. Rude." He showed he was unfazed but now Wallace feared of using his other Pokemon. Majorelle's Steel-typing gave him defense against bullets but the rest of his Pokemon were soft against human weapons. Steven would have to be their shield and Wallace assumed he already knew what he was supposed to do.
"Let's go," Wallace said. It wouldn't do good if they just stood and waited. It was too dark to see anything properly and their sniper most likely have night vision goggles with them. "Lead the way, Steven's intuition."
