To be fair, there were very few people that actually caught her attention to the extent of Lance those months ago. They'd kept their relationship further under wraps since that one rather embarrassing newspaper rumor article hit the public. However, that wasn't anything worth mention. Heck, any relationship Alyssa found herself in with people was nothing more than friend or enemy. With war, it was no surprise that this was the case. Who could she blame this time? Wally. That boy had a rebellious streak that pained her with its familiarity. She'd made an impact on the young man, definitely, but not in the way that most people would approve of, seeing as he'd gained a slightly reckless attitude compared to what he used to be like. With a sigh, Alyssa looked up into the sky. The spring weather had begun warming the Hoenn region, but with the latter part of the transition from season to season, it brought storms. Terrifying storms, too, for someone afraid of such. Lightning ripped through the sky and thunder boomed across the land, coupled by sheets of rain that could make any water pokemon happy. Another matchmaker. It was riddiculous. She couldn't help but wonder who she'd been paired with this time. She'd chosen the location, too, and told her 'serviceman' to tell whomever he paired her with to meet her on Route 105, near the Island Cave. It was said to be the domain of the infamous Regice, though nobody Alyssa knew was capable of deciphering the code written on the outside of it. The sky swirled above her, and her cerulean eyes narrowed. It looked like it was about to storm violently. Needless to say, the 'date' she was on would be less than desirable with rain. It wasnt as though she could stop it, though.
