A ground/dark type? What interesting typing, although somewhat inconvenient. It means none of her Pokemon could do very well against them, but Stellar figured they should run more than they should battle, so hopefully the typing will not be taken into account. Plus, there's a lot of those Pokemon. They must have fallen into their nest or something.
"Great," Stellar huffed. A little bit more to the first floor and an escape from this madness? No problem. She felt a bit sorry for the Krookodile, was it? They had unknowingly disturbed their nest after all.
Two Krokoroks burst through the sand covered floor behind them, nearly sending Stellar tripping over her own two feet in shock. She managed to turn around though, and Saedea was already on the floor next to Torch, eager for the battle; too eager to prove herself.
"Looks like a battle it is then," Stellar mumbled, "Sae! After Torch, Will-o-wisp and Flame Burst!" Thank Arceus the Vulpix knows the value of patience; as soon as Torch finished his attack, the fox Pokemon waved her tail, sending a few balls of flame towards the two Krokoroks. The two Ground Pokemon waved their tail in irritation, not liking the warmth that's spreading into their bodies. Their skin showed a few burns, indicating their status.
"Hopefully that weakens them a bit," Stellar prayed quietly. That should give Torch and Saedea some advantage.
Before Saedea could release her Flame Burst, though, one of the Krokoroks didn't like them a little too much, moving forward and using Mud Slap, splashing the muddy substance towards the two fire types. Saedea yelped, and got a full blast of it, throwing the fire type backwards to Stellar's feet.
"Sae!" The girl reach down to check the Vulpix, but the fox Pokemon threw herself back to the battle as quickly. The second Krokorok was sweeping the sand up, preparing for some kind of attack Stellar couldn't identify. "Samuel, what attack do you think they're using?" Maybe they could avoid it next round or something; Stellar's really not familiar with desert Pokemon.
Note :: Spring makes it sound more lively and bouncier. XD Claw's impressive alright. And talking about Claw, did you see my reply to Stellar's Plot page?
