Seafoam Island Lab Laws
{1} Entrance Regulations: There are three check points along the road that leads up to the entrance of the labs, a metal detector at the docks, a body scan half way, and a required cavity search at the entrance. All check points must be calmly taken when both entering and leaving the labs. Yes it is over kill, but this is to assure that nothing dangerous enters or leaves the labs.
{2} Items Banned From the Labs: You'll only be told this once. Only a small group of things are allowed into the labs. A single personal cameraless cell phone, lab notes, and the clothes on your back. All other items are banned from the island, and any items found on a person shall be thrown into the ocean or destroyed. If one plans an extended stay, they are allowed a suitcase with only clothes in it. Said suitcase and clothes shall be searched at the cavity search check point. These rules apply to all outside visitors, including soldiers not assigned to Seafoam, officers, sentinels, ad even presidents. All conventional items shall be provided in the labs. (Food, shampoo, showers, bathrooms, drinks, ect.)
{3} Required Automated Wristbands: At the cavity search, one shall find that a wrist band shall be attached to them. Said band is not a flashy accessory but a detonable bomb that shall only be removed when one is leaving the labs, and CAN only be removed by a DNA activated key held by a security guard in the same check point one would receive the wristband in. If one gets the bright idea to go crazy in the lab or tries to steal weapons and use them within the lab, an over looking security soldier shall detonate the bomb via computer and kill said offender. Since the lab is under constant and complete surveillance, committing crimes within the lab is very much frowned upon. The key required to open said wristbands are DNA activated, meaning it only responds to the designated holder. Again, all outside visitors are required to wear these. Those not seen wearing them shall be escorted from the labs or if resistance is shown, shot.
{4} Getting to the Island: The only way to get into the island is by taking a designated Lux Seafoam Ship. Only two are in motion and the first shall deliver new visitors every morning at exactly 4:00 AM from Fuschia City. The second shall come to return visitors to the mainlands at exactly 9:00 PM (One can also get back on the 4:00 AM ship or come on the 9:00 PM ship). All ships shall only arrive from the Seafoam docks. All other boats that appear to head toward any other area of Seafoam shall be redirected by flairs and smoke bombs and if a ship gets too close, it shall be taken down by under water torpedoes. Also, swimming to near the islands shall cause you to be attacked by provoked Sharpedoes. Same with Submarines.
{5} Borders: Under no circumstances is one allowed to wander from the placed roads that lead to the lab entrance. Those who do shall have to survive against the hundreds of guards who patrol the area, as well as the rather cruel and unforgiving traps set up by Vice President Blaine. If you think you can stealthily make your way around, it shall be rather hard to do so with the thousands of surveillance cameras implanted to prevent such a thing from happening. Also watch out for the snipers planted all around the island. They aren't fun.
{6} Curfew: If you want to leave the islands, it must be at 9:00 PM when the ships leave, otherwise you shall be locked into the labs until 4:00 Am, when one can catch a ride with a returning ship. Those who have paid for night lab clearance shall be allowed to dwell in the labs during the night time, otherwise you shall be directed to in lab cabins for the night.
These laws are in place to assure the safety of both you and Lux. One might find them harsh, but complete scientific freedom surely makes up for it. Follow the rules, and enjoy your stay at the Seafoam Islands Lux Lab Facilities.
