FULL NAME Kitt Delaney BACKGROUND Kitt Delaney was born to Scott and Rose Marie Delaney 19 years ago on a May 14th and has grown up in Lavender Town. She was young when they divorced, and really only remembers bits and pieces of the shouting, the arguments. If you ask Kitt, she likes them better separate. They get along better, now, when they go back to different homes and only have to handle each other in doses. Kitt was five when, whoops, surprise surprise, she was getting a little sister thanks to that new guy mom was hanging out with. Needless to say she was in now way happy about the news at first, but uh, the kid's grown on her. Before Kitt knew it, she was accompanying Molly off to the Power Plant because what kind of sibling lets a kid go there on their own?? One time some asshole went and tried to tell Molly she couldn't play with toys because they were meant for boys. Fuck that. Kitt punched that kid in the face. She stands by it even more firmly today than she did then. Kitt remembers Molly approaching her about wanting to see what it was like, to not be treated like a girl. She remembers telling Molly that it'd be easier if she could pass as male. Safer, maybe, even. She encouraged it, but when it came time to try on the bindings she took a step back, seeing it as a step towards independence and individuality. Better to let it grow from its own foundation than smother it. Molly's dad, uh, has always been strange in Kitt's eyes. Friendly enough! Strange, though. He's nice enough, even took her along with Molly to a trip to the Safari Zone. But the lines are drawn and Kitt would never once mistake herself for his daughter; after the day was through, she was sent home when Molly was taken for ice cream. It's father-daughter time, she can respect that. She'd looked forward to training before LUX, before the war. She'd looked forward to proving that she could be stronger, had always been stronger. With the way things are headed, though, she isn't sure anymore. Oh. Yeah. Guess that means she's related to that bottom-feeding waste of skin too in some way, but whatever. No one cares about Rylan Landon. OCCUPATION She proudly claimed Poison Tongue when in fact it had originally been intended as an insult. She used to be a full-time trainer, but she's had to grow up and get a job. Funny thing, no one else would take her except some LUX-aligned intern gig at the Radio Tower. ALLEGIANCE There's no point in fighting. Kitt just wants to live her life, much as she might sympathize with Nox. TRAITS |
