AS SOON AS I SEE | THE DUST SETTLE |
The distant volcano brought a small smile to Lance's face. A familiar city- one he hadn't visited in quite a while. Had it been a year now? Most likely more. Coca saw the city as well, flying lower to the water and splashing her trainer playfully. Lance gave a chuckle as they flew across the sea green waters. "We're back." And Lance clutched Coca even tighter as the Dragonite twisted her body, spinning and dashing towards the city at an incredible pace.
As they neared the volcano, Lance brushed himself off, preparing for their landing. Coca, however, had a very different idea of how they'd reach Sootopolis. She gave a glance to her trainer, batting her eyes mischievously before diving deep into the ocean. Lance took the largest breath he could before their submerge, his eyes widening as the cold waters overcame him. Damn. That was his Dragonite, the most famous prankster of her kind. And she swam even faster than she flew, flailing her strong legs and reaching the underwater (and less popular) entrance to the city. They arrived in the center of the volcano, Lance breathing heavily from their underwater adventure.
Coca gave a wicked grin as her trainer hoisted himself onto the walk way, his entire outfit soaked and drooping. Lance swiped some hair out of his face calmly. "Alright. Very funny." The female Dragonite just nodded her head slowly, bursting into laughter. "Could you dry me off?" Lance asked, sick of the trouble Coca had caused. Speaking of the pokemon, she flew out of the water and crossed her arms, firmly shaking her head at her trainer. "C'mon. I can't go in there all wet." Lance said, keeping his composure. Coca stared at him. She pondered her decision for a moment, before giving him another mischievous smile. Her words were written all over her face. "Yes you can."
And so, somehow, Lance ended up walking into a building soaking wet, dripping water all over the floor. Coca had been returned to her pokeball.
"Lance Drakon for Ms. Akiyama."
The receptionist gave him a death stare.
