FULL NAME Bébhinn Breda Cody. Only her ID calls her that. As far as everyone else is concerned, including herself, her name is Bebe. Online Bebe uses many changing alias’ on the net, the most common one once being Mizuki, although she hasn’t used that one for years. BACKGROUND Bebe was born twenty-seven years ago on April 4th. After her parent's divorce, she found herself travelling between the Johto and Sinnoh regions a lot, until she finally decided to settle down in Hearthome City and live on her own. For a long time she didn’t move from the city - it had everything she needed. But when the war started, needs changed. Bebe’s claim to fame is developing Sinnoh’s Pokemon Storage System (based of the lovely designs of Bill and Lanette, of course). What they - they, annoyingly, mostly included potential employers - tend to forget is she is an overall expert computer technician who doesn’t just fiddle around with storage systems. Lux seemed to have more money, so not long into the war, she marched straight up to them and demanded a job. Since the start of the war, Bebe has made a program which detects and deletes Lux slander on the internet, after collecting information on the person who posted it in the first place of course, and has set up numerous security systems around the Sinnoh region. For a while she’s been trying to get jobs in one of the other regions (for a change of scenery, she says) but hasn’t had any luck until a certain incident happened at the Mt. Moon research centre. Bebe has been called in to set up a new and improved security system. OCCUPATION Although she is clearly better suited to be called a Super Nerd or an Engineer, Bebe’s ID states that she is a Battle Girl. She felt like something that started with the letter B, and it was a challenge to herself to see if she could get her ID saying what she wanted. ALLEGIANCE Bebe may work for Lux, but that doesn’t mean that she actually likes them or what they’re doing. Actually, she’s quite opposed to them, but only an idiot would say that to their face. It’s a little known fact, but Bebe is ultimately aligned with Nox. Her cameras are theirs, if they ever ask for them, and every now and then Bebe will go on an anonymous online “Lux shaming spree”. (Because if no one else is smart enough to get around her program, then it’s up to her to do so. Then she can get paid to update the program, and the cycle will start over again whenever she feels like it). TRAITS |

SECRETS: ▪ When she was about fifteen, she did a brief stint as a Battle Girl. It didn’t end well, and she refuses to talk about it. ▪ One positive thing that came out of the almighty ass kicking (which she completely denies ever happening), was that Bebe realised solely relying on Pokemon to fight your battles was a stupid idea. Since then she has picked up boxing classes, and although they stopped running during the war, Bebe still trains three times a week. ▪ Bebe hasn’t used Pokemon for battle for a long time now. As far as anyone knows, she only has a Glameow as a pet. All the others are kept on the down low. ▪ Strictly speaking, Glameow and Porygon are the only Pokemon that are hers; the rest are “borrowed”. ▪ She used to have an Eevee which was given to her by her old buddy Bill, but Bebe has since given it away to a promising trainer. Bebe hasn’t got the heart to tell Bill that she’s given away her present, so she occasionally mentions the Eevee in her emails and every now and then sends fake photos. ▪ (Her Glameow did not like the Eevee at all and was very vocal about it. It really was a case of choosing one over the other). ▪ Bebe will never entertain the thought of evolving her Pokemon. Glameow is perfect the way she is, while, in her opinion, Porygon becomes glitchier through evolution. The last thing she needs is a glitch ruining everything. |
