FULL NAME Green, Leaf Green. Actually it's "Leif" but let's be real, that's a guy's name and nobody's ever spelled it right on their first try anyway. "Leaf" is just as good for her, and she likes how it works with her surname. She's also used to "Green" to complement Pallet's golden boys, Red and Blue. BACKGROUND Leaf's 24 years old and was born on a January 29th in Pallet Town. She was a normal, if somewhat nosy and rambunctious kid. At the age of 10 she was delighted to charge off into the world with a Bulbasaur (dubbed "Herbert") given to her by Professor Oak. Their mission was to collect Pokemon to help flesh out the Pokedex, which she considered her primary goal, while stomping all over gyms was fun and foiling Team Rocket was just the right thing to do. Leaf's never exactly been the most rule-following of rule-followers, but organized crime is definitely not her style and ruining their plans was hilarious at the time. She also had a friendly rivalry going with Red and Blue, and while Leaf did complete the Kanto gym circuit, she never went on to challenge the League. She preferred to continue exploring. Leaf's never been the most competitive of trainers, she really is in things for the spirit of fun. Unfortunately, there hasn't been a lot of fun to be had lately. Life got grim and Leaf's gotten tougher, but she clings to her silver linings. Unfortunately, Leaf lost most of her Pokemon collection when Lux compromised the PC network hers were housed in. Many of them were quite powerful specimens, and it was unwise to leave such assets in civilian hands that had conspicuously not risen to support them. She doesn't know what became of them, but clings all the tighter to her main six and is now very wary of letting them out of her reach for too long. Home isn't a safe place for Leaf right now. Her family truly means well and does love her, but they have misguidedly (from her perspective) fallen in with Lux. They think her decision to rebel is foolish and dangerous, and they just wish their daughter would come home and be safe, perhaps even join the fight for the right cause if she really must cling to this dangerous fighting business. To be honest, it hurts. But at least she knows they're safe. She's been with Nox for the last year, and actually fighting people is hard for her. Leaf must protect herself and her team, as well as others, and as a cost of that she's found that more often than not, that means hurting someone else. War is freakin' confusing. It's easier to just try not to think about it too hard. OCCUPATION Leaf never aspired to be anything more than a Pokemon Trainer, honestly. Exactly what that means to her might change a bit from year to year, but if you asked that's the answer you'd get. ALLEGIANCE Nox, because by not being Lux you're Nox. Leaf's not one to run off to Unova while her home region is tied down. She's also not proud about being on the same side as the Rockets for once at all, but beggars can't be choosers. She's not totally comfortable with everything Nox is doing, but it's better than not doing anything at all. TRAITS |
