A most unusual sight had just emerged from the southern exit of Viridian Forest, and onto the main pathway of Route 2. A small precession of people, and Pokemon were just passing through the entrance, on their way to the local Lux. The group was on its way to Viridian City, and if one got a close enough look, one would be able to tell that this was anything, but a routine group of travelers. The first person to emerge was Lux Sentinel Hunter Shigure with what appeared to be an Emolga perched on his shoulders. He was glancing back at the rest of the group, every few seconds to make sure that the everything behind him was still under control. The second person in the group was a somewhat older burly man with full beard. The scars across his face suggested that he had been through quite a bit in terms of violence. Most notably, the mans body was bound by what appeared to be a sticky String Shot attack. An assumption that would be confirmed by the fact that the String Shot rope continued to trail behind the man, and ended at the mouth of an Ariados, which was the last in the group to emerge from the forest.
The man that was bound by the String Shot, was who Lux had deemed to be a 'dangerous man.' More specifically, he was an escaped convict from the Rock Tunnel prison, and now Hunter, who had finally apprehended him, was now 'dragging' him to Viridian City, to turn him over to the proper authorities who would presumably send him back to Rock Tunnel.
The prospect of what awaited him back at the Rock Tunnel was more terrifying than what the man could bare, and was enough to compel him to make a run for it. He did a mental countdown in his head, and then suddenly tried to make a break for it, back towards the forest. Although Ariados was surprised by the mans sudden escape attempt, the Long Leg Pokemon held its ground, and would not release the String Shot from its mouth. Hunter heard the commotion and turned around to see what was happening. Seeing the escaped convict essentially running in place, the Sentinel sighed, turned to his Emolga, and said, "Emolga, show this fool what happens to prisoners who won't go quietly." The Sky Squirrel lept off of its trainers shoulder, and immediately shot a powerful blue bolt of electrical energy in the form of a Shock Wave attack toward the prisoner. The man cried out in pain as the attack hit him, and fell over unconscious, seconds later. As Emolga landed back on his shoulder Hunter turned towards his Ariados and said, "Wrap his legs up. I don't want that to happen again." The bug-type quickly obeyed and shot out another sticky String Shot attack and wrapped it around the still unconscious prisoners legs.
Of course, because it now had to drag the prisoner, as opposed to 'escorting' him to Viridian City, Ariados now had to crawl backwards since the String Shot was still attached to its mouth. Even so, the Long Leg Pokemon did not show any signs of complaining as it turned around and began moving backwards as it dragged the sleeping prisoner behind itself, as it made its way, along with its trainer, further south towards town.
