NOX: Felix Lucas Everything doesn't have to be decided by life and death  |
FULL NAME Felix Jonas Lucas BACKGROUND Felix and his family hail from the Hoenn region. Lavaridge Town, to be precise. They aren't there, anymore, however. The Twenty-year-old took his journey at the average age of 10, following in a family tradition. In fact, it was on his tenth birthday that his family, consisting of himself, his mother, and his father, all flew on the old couple's Pokemon to the lab in Littleroot Town for Felix to choose his first Pokemon; a Torchic whom he named Sakura. Felix set out from Littleroot on his own, training with Torchic until he could challenge the first gym in Rustboro. He and his trusty partner were severely beaten at the hands of Roxanne. However, he was determined to start his journey proper, and travelled back out into the wilderness, eventually catching and training a Natu. He returned to Rustboro and, barely, defeated Roxanne. Stone Badge in hand, he continued on his journey. Suffice it to say, he was a skilled trainer. Over the next five years, with a few periodic visits home, he caught and trained a Haunter, raising it into a Gengar. His other two Pokemon evolved over these years as well, and the four of them managed to challenge and overcome 6 more gyms. However, Felix's ace team hit a stumbling block with the Sootopolis gym. The water-type gym was just too much of an obstacle. One of his Pokemon was completely unable to fight, and the other two weren't strong enough to take on the gym leader's team alone. He returned home, thinking he'd get his thoughts in order and seek out a fourth member of his team, but fate had different plans. Felix's life was turned in on itself as Lux established itself in Hoenn. His parents, who valued their freedoms and that of their son, fled Lavaridge to join Nox. Over the following two years, Felix was a sort of mascot/trainer in their ranks, moving up to an actual guerilla position for the next three. He was out in Unova, chasing after a Zorua after a mission, and catching it when it happened. A major upheaval came with in the form of the Sootopolis skirmish; Felix's parents and almost all of their Pokemon were killed by Lux. A kind soul brought the survivors to their son: a Luxray, a Lucario, and an Absol. Felix remembered all of their names, and it hurt at first just to see these Pokemon, to work with them like his parents, and remember the loss. It still hurts, if he's honest with himself, but he's not going to stop doing what he does just because of that. Now, Felix is determined to honor his parents' memory and contribute to Nox's cause with all he has. His latest exploit; this very night he approaches the quarters of Terran Sunderland to request being assigned to the... disarmed... leader's personal guard. Who knows what the man will say, but it seems like an appropriate way to show his resolve, with this new beginning. OCCUPATION Felix is what one might call a dedicated infantry soldier in the war. He's got his team and they work extremely well together, and they specialize in taking on other trainers. This makes him an ACE TRAINER, in his mind anyway. ALLEGIANCE Felix is Nox, through and through. Partially because of his parents, who were ardent Nox supporters and raised him to value his freedom even before Nox and Lux existed, and partly because while both sides have done some terrible things, Lux just revolts him more. He's willing to work with Nox and try to reach peace through the war. He just hopes they can achieve that. TRAITS |
