FULL NAME His full name is Nathan Samuel Black, but he normally just goes by Black or Nate. BACKGROUND Nathan Black was born in Aspertia City. He's currently eighteen years old. Two years ago, at the age of 16, he started on his Pokemon journey with his friends Rosa and Hugh and his partner Pokemon Tepig. While attempting to collect gym badges and fill his Pokedex, Nate and his friends encountered the remnants of Team Plasma. They'd now dispensed with all notion of helping Pokemon and simply pursued power. With N's help, they managed to stop Ghetsis, at least for the moment. Nate never did challenge the Pokemon League. He was about to, after stopping team Plasma and finding his way through the Victory Road, but there were more pressing matters. The formation of the Republic, for one thing. Nate couldn't just let things continue as they were, and he abandoned his pursuit of the League to keep Lux and Nox out of his homeland. OCCUPATION Nate considers himself a Challenger. While he hasn't been able to take on the Champion yet, he has earned all 8 badges and reached the end of Victory Road. He's still got that goal in mind, but he doesn't feel ready just yet. ALLEGIANCE Nate sides with The Republic. He doesn't see the point in the war, and he wants to keep it out of Unova as much as possible. TRAITS |
