Author notes :: Too inspired. I can just see this happening. XD AU!PREPokemorph verse. For those who doesn't knwo this series before hand, it's a series of stories based around Pokemon who made a deal to become human, most in order to protect their trainer. Takes place in PRE universe, but AU!.
Characters :: Magdalene, Elliot's Marshtomp.
Dedicated to :: The Crash Man Ω Because....it is his character. XD Takes place after Platinum vs Elliot, Battle of the Whirl Islands' first round.
She was furious.
She screamed, but it was silent, silent because she couldn't bear to wake up the tired boy in her care. He's so small, so frail, so wonderful, but yet...Her eyes shone in anger, a dangerous gleam.
How dare they?
HOW DARE THEY?
Magdelene sent curses up to the heavens, where she cursed the hell out of their god, of Arceus, for raining bad luck on her darling trainer. What have they ever done to deserve this? What have Elliot ever done to deserve this!?
The Marshtomp, now human, tore her aqua blue scarf from her neck, viciously, feeling the fabric tore at the weak skin underneath. There's pain ,of course, but this is nothing compared to the brand on Elliot's face, a brand she desperately wants to rip out, brand that feels like it's burnt into her own skin as well.
She clawed at her old scar, relishing in the pain that seared. It's only fitting; if Elliot gets hurt, then she has to feel it too, or at least, try to feel it. He's her only one, and she have failed him, failed him too many times and this pain is her reminder.
She drew blood, trickling down her neck. It felt good, great, even, that they somehow matched each other again, however little. Everything felt heavy and painful and gathering in her chest, and for a minute, she felt a surge of power through her body, coursing through her limbs, and she fancied becoming more and more powerful, to save Elliot from everything.
Then, it was gone.
Magdalene screamed, but it was silent, for she's never going to put her needs before Elliot, and Elliot needs that rest now. For now, she holds back, holds on, keeps her silent, and one day, from the shadows, there will be a pair of gleaming eyes, and one day, she will rain her revenge on Platinum, on everyone that had hurt Elliot.
There will be screams, there will be blood, there will be ice.
And there will be nothing else.
Only Elliot, only her, and only their team.
She smiled.
