Even at night, Castelia City was the same glowing city it was during the day. So many lights. Alder thought upon this city, as well as Unova, as he watched the others in the bar. He, of course, had nothing to drink yet; he wasn't really that much of a drinker at all, really. Too little time in the world, and besides that, it could drastically shorten your lifespan. No, he was just there to enjoy himself, and see how it was people enjoyed themselves as well during a wartime climate such as this. Not that the war had really reached Unova, yet anyway. It was only a matter of time until Lux and Nox decided to completely take over Unova, like they had with other regions.
Lux already had people working for them, after all. Himself included. It had been a hard choice, really, to join up with Lux, but what had happened seemingly so long ago, at Village Bridge, had changed his mind. Nox had to be stopped, they had to stop being so violent. And yet, despite thinking this, he wanted Unova to just be for Unovans, those that lived in Unova and called it their home. No Nox, no Lux. Alder was glad that, aside from Cheren and Juniper, no one knew of his desire to see this land be given back to those living in it. It would be dangerous if Lux ever learned he felt that way, after all, even if they were better than Nox, in his eyes.
The red-headed former Champion glanced around the bar again, a soft smile on his face, before returning his gaze to the table before him. He really was rather worried, despite his thoughts. What if something happened to Cheren or Juniper? Or what if Lux decided to invade full force? Would he really be able to help them conquer towns?
