SITE TIMELINE
BATTLE #1 NOX VICTORY | BATTLE OF OLIVINE CITY - NEWSPAPER ARTICLE After two years of a tug and pull war, the first decisive battle of PRE took place. Olivine City was surged by Nox combatants from the sea, and Lux floundered to defend the Johto port city. Nox targeted the lighthouse, and soon enough, the iconic landmark crumbled to the ground under the continued attack. With this battle, Nox forced themselves onto the map, demanding Lux look at them as a potential threat instead of a ragtag group of rebels. |
BATTLE #2 LUX VICTORY | BATTLE OF SOOTOPOLIS - NEWSPAPER ARTICLE After the upsetting defeat in Olivine, Lux forces began a retaliation. They weren't going to sit by idly and let Nox do as they please; ergo, the political power-house took the fight to the rebel's main foothold -- Hoenn. Sootopolis was a prize to be won, with significant geographical advantages, and it would hit Nox hard. Hacing their main support in Hoenn, a loss of ground would cripple morale, and Lux invaded. They struck fast and hard, and Nox's forces crumbled in their wake. |
BATTLE #3 LUX VICTORY | BATTLE OF ETERNA FOREST - NEWSPAPER ARTICLE On a not-so-happy random occurrence, one of the most bloody battles of the war's history erupted within Eterna Forest. Both factions had set up camp, unaware the other was doing the exact same thing. Logically, the forest couldn't hold both, and once the veil of mystery was destroyed the forest was quickly washed in the blood of both sides. The battle was fierce and extremely close, fires caught, bases exploded (including the Old Chateau), but in the end, Lux reinforcements arrived, driving the valiant Nox soldiers out of the forest. The Battle of Eterna Forest still holds as one of the bloodiest battles, only second to Snowpoint. |
SKIRMISH NOX VICTORY | SKIRMISH IN MISTRALTON - NEWSPAPER ARTICLE What seems to have been a typical bar fight turned into a medium-scale skirmish. Nox took advantage of the situation, pouring soldiers into the city and easily routed the handful of Lux soldiers present at the time. The city is, however, not on Lux's to-take-back list because Nox is allegedly holding the entire city hostage. |
BATTLE #4 LUX VICTORY | BATTLE OF DRAGON'S DEN Nox planned a brutal attack on Blackthorn City. They planned to not destroy the town, but capture the dragons that take up residence there. They wanted to herd up and control the dragons to fight against Lux. The original plan started off perfectly, but lack of leadership on Nox's side caused their ranks to fall apart on themselves; however, one turn of events that was unexpected took form in Giovanni revealing himself. He has aligned himself with Nox, but at the present, Lux hasn't put much thought into his return. Lux took an easy victory, and the Battle of Dragon's Den will be remembered as the battle that jerked Nox into formation. They realized they needed structure, and Lux rejoiced the victory without realizing what was going on. |
BATTLE #5 NOX VICTORY | BATTLE OF VILLAGE BRIDGE - NEWSPAPER ARTICLE In wake of Dragon Den's failure, Nox regrouped, fought amongst themselves for awhile. In the meantime, Lux went about it's daily duties and leisurely set its eyes on Village Bridge. However, once Nox came to an agreement, they countered Lux's attempt to claim territory in the otherwise neutral Unova region. Now under more leadership, Nox's forces outlasted Lux by sheer numbers alone. Lux's time of semi-peace was over in the face of an embarrassing defeat and one destroyed bridge. Nox's victory was not because they claimed the bridge, but because this was the first true victory they had. Fighting head on with Lux, they had come out victorious for the first time. |
SKIRMISH IN-PROGRESS | SKIRMISH IN HEARTHOME Hearthome had always been an active war zone. Nox and Lux viciously fought over the area with passion; however, President of Lux, Shamees Ferrer, planned and lead an assault on the town to end the fighting. What the sentinels and Shamess himself didn't know, was that one of Lux's main figureheads, Platinum, was being held hostage here after unsuspectingly landing in Nox territory to attempt to save her dying Empoleon. Shamees, leading the attack on Heathome, was successful in aiding in the rescue of Platina. The battle raged on around the unplanned rescue... TBC. |
BATTLE #6 LUX VICTORY | BATTLE OF SNOWPOINT CITY To date the bloodiest battle of the war, holding casualties well into the thousands for both sides, the battle for Snowpoint City was waged within a blizzard. The worst blizzard the region had seen in decades, to be exact. People got cut off from their factions, froze to death in the bleak winter, while the cries of those murdered got swept away in the winds, never to be heard. Lux took the offensive stance, while Nox defended one of their strongest bases in Shinnoh. Once the storm cleared, Nox had retreated and Lux stood alone in the field of scarlet snow. |
SKIRMISH IN-PROGRESS | SKIRMISH IN SOOTOPOLIS Considered an important turning point within the war, the brutalities suffered by both sides are sure to be used against Lux and Nox in the future. A decisive victory for Nox by consensual assent, the skirmish was quick to be used as an outcry against Lux. What began as a peaceful protest quickly escalated into a violent riot of people against the military, and Lux's no-nonsense methods were quickly displayed as Lux's future president returned home with an arm to mount upon his wall of trophies. |
SKIRMISH IN-PROGRESS | SKIRMISH IN DRIFTVEIL Under the new leadership, Nox tried all sorts of tactics. Speeches, propaganda, guerrilla warfare, local militias, everything that could be used, was used, and Driftveil was the start of that. Classicaly dubbed a skirmish, this "battle" was rather peaceful. Filled with motivational speeches and Nox-driven propaganda, Drfitveil's support wans... |
SKIRMISH NOX VICTORY | SKIRMISH IN CIANWOOD Having gathered morale and momentum from Olivine, Champion Silver went straight to rebuilding the city and setting up defenses in the vastly Lux-controlled region. Once he felt the port town was secure enough, he launched another strike on Johto. This time, they swarmed Cianwood by siege. Bombs exploded, ships sank, power was cut off, and the soldiers of both sides had to persevere through. With no power or communication, Lux Champion Thalia's forces crumbled and retreated into the sky, flanked by draco meteors, after weeks of fending off the Nox attacks. They saw no reinforcements coming to aid them, and Nox had a steady flow of supply and fresh soldiers from Olivine. Nox secured a well-deserved victory, gaining more ground in Johto. |
BATTLE #7 IN-PROGRESS | BATTLE OF LILYCOVE CITY As the sun peaks out over the horizon, black shapes become increasingly visible. Lux launches a sky-based attack on Lilycove City, Hoenn, while Nox sets up their defenses. Word of Lux's attack got leaked to Nox's ears, and they were fully prepared as the attack came, waiting in formation for the attack. What they didn't know, is this battle was but a mere distraction as Lux readjusted their attacks to Lilycove's grounds. |
SKIRMISH IN-PROGRESS | SKIRMISH IN MOSSDEEP In the dead of night on the day of the almost publicly announced Battle of Lilycove, newly appointed Hoenn Champion, Alexander Cromwell, sails into Mossdeep's port with a band of elite fighters, hand picked by him. They storm the beach, targeting the real prize of the three-pronged attack on Nox's forces in Hoenn. With almost all of the giant base's forces at Lilycove, Lux forces stormed the beach; however, they were met with the Gym Leaders, who weren't going to let their town go without a fight. As the heavens opened their floodgates, the battle... TBC. |
SKIRMISH IN-PROGRESS | SKIRMISH OF SLATEPORT The last limb of the three pronged attack planned by Alexander, the skirmish of Slateport started quietly -- too quietly. A lux spy slipped under Nox's weary eye and turned off the boom chains, allowing Drake to lead his force into the bay area. Once the attack started, Nox sent up flares, arousing the slumbering city of Nox supporters and soldiers. Nox hastily tries to form a resistance to the initial surge of attack, with Wallace as the mastermind... TBC. |
