He was first obtained as an egg that his mother gave him as a gift a year before his pokemon journey started over sixteen years ago, which first hatched into a Charmander with strange yellow skin. As the years passed, the two of them grew closer and gained a bond of friendship that no one can break. This black Charizard has a modest nature, as well as being polite, courteous, and even a bit kind. He has a moderate view of himself and all of his accomplishments as he isn’t prideful like Zernebog or Atlas. He doesn’t like overrating himself or anyone else because he knew what hubris could lead to, making him cautious as well. Unsurprisingly, he also inherited his trainer’s nobility and honor code… though those come second to Zernebog’s safety and happiness. Surprisingly though, he does have a rivalry with Typhon, which one won’t expect given his general personality. It is his personality that makes him a great foil to his trainer as well as a great leader to his team. He is also the one who keeps Typhon’s violent tendencies in check, since he has the most experience on dealing with Typhon’s nasty temper.[/style] |

After a long and drawn-out battle with only one pokemon, Zernebog finally beat the man’s Dratini and Gible. When Zernebog demanded to know his name, the mysterious man simply laughed and gave him an egg along with a cryptic riddle. This egg then hatched into a timid Deino some time later when he arrived at Oreburgh City. It was this young Deino that helped him beat Roark, which has earned him a permanent place on Zernebog’s active team. Since then, Typhon had evolved to a Hydreigon under his care. While normally timid and shy, the Hydreigon has a violent streak a mile wide and won’t hesitate to battle or kill anything that Zernebog orders him to do so. He is extremely bloodthirsty and is something of a blood knight, eager for combat. Thankfully he’s mellowed out a bit over the years after that disastrous incident with the mysterious man AKA Zernebog’s father.[/style] |

Over time, this Gible –now named Ouranós- eventually became strong enough to reach his current form with lots of training. He is a jolly pokemon that is usually merry and in good spirits. This is because of his naturally optimistic nature that is a contrast to Zernebog’s cynical nature, which often leaves the latter either smiling or sighing. He is definitely the nicest of his pokemon and often acts as a mediator in disputes. Despite that, he still has the cunning and ruthlessness of a predator underneath all of that, just waiting to be unleashed in a fight. He has to be that smart to be able to solve those disputes as well as act as a voice of reason for his trainer. [/style] |

Zernebog was pleasantly surprised when he found out that newly-obtained Electrabuzz was holding an Electirizer, which made it evolve into an Electivire. Soon after obtaining the Electivire, it soon became obvious he was very naïve since he believed that he was just being borrowed by Zernebog and refused to admit the truth. It took a while, but after lots of convincing and arguments with the help of his Gallade, Zeus was finally able to see the truth. Surprisingly, that fact didn’t hurt Zeus nearly as much as Zernebog thought it would, mostly since he had already gotten used to him and his team. Despite that, he still remains to be naïve and stubborn to this day, often requiring the guidance of his fellow pokemon as well as his trainer in battle. Typhon in particular seems very protective of him for some reason.[/style] |

He was caught back when he was a mere Duskull during a brief visit to Hoenn, and then he was trained extensively and traded back and forth once with the Reaper cloth in order to reach his current form of Dusknoir. He is easily the calmest and most level-headed of Zernebog’s pokemon, often acting as the voice of reason alongside Ouranos when he actually makes the effort to interfere. This is due to his relaxed and easy-going nature, which doesn’t seem evident given his very imposing appearance and the reputation of his species. This same nature is also what makes it hard for him to actually take battles seriously unless something serious is at stake or when he is properly reprimanded by his trainer. [/style] |
