He's a die hard and will show you all the reasons why you need to fight. He's been a region leader, a guerrilla, and now he's sneaking in and rubbing elbows with the Luxxies but helping Nox with supplies in Sunyshore. This man will help you to the very end, making friends with him? Well that's a little bit different. He has major trust issues and to be frank the few handful of friends he still has from before the good old war days? Well even that's stretching it. Seeing as they're all pretty much Lux except for a few? Yeah. Poor Volky. You can try rubbing elbows and getting to know him. He's not rude, he's just guarded. ENEMIES Keep your friends close. But always keep your enemies closer. This is Volkner's motto. He's in with Lux at the moment so he's not really doing a lot of fights within Sinnoh, but you rub him the wrong way... well there's a reason he's an electric specialist. He's very finnicky. HE could plaster on a big smile and plan how to make your life a living hell.. or there were the times in his war days when electric torture was a big thing. It really depends. Eclectic is a good word for him. Random too. So yeah. ROMANCE Guy's sniffed around Elesa two times now. Both times had his heart crushed. So he's not the biggest on romance. But I think, personally, he needs some to be honest. Yes he has trust issues but issues are solvable people. I'm open for OC and Canon. Male and Female. Guys he can't be devastated all of his life. ;; I love him too much.

Alright so here's what we've got.

Alyssa and Volkner would have battled Volkner while he was still fairly new. So I'm thinking he was looking for someone as strong as her when she left with the badge and got really dissapointed when there weren't many. :B and ended up having a loner and sulky attitude because of it. He'd see her as a really good friend and love to meet up and chat with her again.

Now. Yes, Volkner wasn't the most obidient teen in the world, a reason he fits in with Nox quite well. I think he'd be interested in picking locks and learn from Alyssa. He'd probably use it to fiddle with his machines too so he'd see it as a win win situation. lol.

Volkner would get all defensive at being called stiff and a loner but coming from Alyssa I think he'd try his best to loosen up and of course Alyssa would push him the rest of being alittle more social I think.

I think they could either have a catch up thread somewhere and just catch up on things. OR they could have a catch up thread and get into some mischieve and Alyssa teaches him to pick locks right away. IDK. UP TO YOU DAUGHTER.

While she may not directly call him a stiff or a loner she'd suggest it, along with a friendly elbow-nudge and a "Lighten up, will ya? c: <3" XD She'd be a bit like ":<" that he's how he is and would try to change that for the better if she could, all the while trying not to make it obvious XD

As far as stuff goes....I vote we do two threads? One catch-up, the other spurring from her mentioning picking locks and him taking interest? It could be (IC time-line-wise) back-to-back ^^ They could catch up over a meal or meeting in a park or something and then go from there to lockpicking ^^

Volkner spends quite a bit of time in the Lighthouse, yes? (Maybe not so much any more, since Sunyshore is under Lux, but go with it.) I can imagine that Val would be doing the same, since the Olivine Lighthouse obviously doesn’t give her that option any more. Since her brother Oli died in the Olivine catastrophe, Valencia sees lighthouses as a symbol of him, and would go there to pay her respects. Maybe they could run into each other there? I can imagine that Val would be surprised, and definitely a bit embarrassed, since she’d probably be crying. Outside of mourning for her brother, though, she’s really quite chipper, and would probably be all about cheering Volkner up, if possible. And she’d pester him endlessly for advice on training Jack, her Blitzle. :V The Nox/Lux angle might be interesting; Val isn’t an active supporter of Lux, but has something of a grudge against Nox due to her brother’s death. Perhaps - if these two end up meeting and getting along - Volkner could conveniently, er, forget to mention his affiliation, since Val isn’t exactly the type to interrogate. Why hello there. im sorry i still need to code a pretty plot reply thingy yet OTL

Alright so this is gonna look crappy till I feel like going back and changing it.

Uh, yes, Volkner loves lighthouses and oceanic places. He likes standing atop a lighthouse and looking out across the sea. He doesn't like being out on the sea but he likes looking out on it. You can especially catch him out there at sunset. But sometimes he goes during the day.

I see they have similar interests that include being lazy and the ocean. I think its a good start. He's already got one old friend who will get him to open up a bit so I think he'll appreciate the thought when she sees that she's cheerful and happy. But, really I kinda think when I play characters it depends on how the characters react to each other.

But I can see a post in Olivine City with them. I think he would avoid mentioning his affiliation as he's not a big participator for Nox anyhow. He'll help out if Alyssa asks him to most likely he'll do it but he wont say he's Lux first thing. I can see it being a bit of a drama thing between the two of them when she finds out. But I think it'll pull through. :3 Ideas? Disreguards? i think i kinda just agreed with everything you said, I'm sorry,

I don't know if Emil and Volkner will actually get along, purely because they are both quite depressive and I don't know whether that would spur on a friendship or conversely make one another irritable. Oh, and Emil has always hated the League/Pokemon trainer system, because as a child growing up in the slums he was deathly jealous of trainers who had acquired Pokemon legitimately and not, you know, stealing them, as he did.

Anyway, ultimately, I think it might be interesting to put them in a thread together? Maybe a mission sometime? I have a feeling that Volkner might bring out Emil's more human dynamic.

Alright. So these two. Volkner isn’t as depressive as he used to be.. I mean he’s still depressive that he tends to get on others nerves but,… Im actually not sure if these two would be more friends. I mean Volkner is getting more and more into the war so I think he’s been getting more warlike? Idk I think maybe there could be at least some respect towards each other?
