Walker is the commander of the Lux Navy's Kanto Fleet. He is from Vermilion City, and his life has revolved around the sea from the time of his birth, and he has had a long naval career which dates back to well before the founding of Lux. He has an ambition to one day be promoted to Head of the entire Lux Navy. He is also a strong water-type Pokemon enthusiast. friendships Preston (in his opinion anyway) does a pretty good job of keeping his ego in check. He has a serious personality, and his sense of humor is somewhat dry, which doesn't make him the most interesting person to talk to, especially for someone with a chipper personality. The easiest people for him to make friends with are high ranking Lux officials, though it is almost as easy for him develop a friendship for anyone associated with Lux in general. He especially enjoys talking about the current state of affairs and politics within Lux, and what needs to be done to correct all of Lux's problems. Anyone affiliated with Nox will find it somewhat more difficult, although not impossible to make friends with Preston. Preston isn't the biggest skeptic on Earth, and isn't naturally suspicious, so if you have Nox affiliations, and want to make friends with him, just don't openly reveal your allegiance and you will be fine. adversaries Although Preston is opposed to Nox, this doesn't mean that he will automatically hate anyone associated with them. He especially has a respect for his counterparts in the Nox Navy and secretly looks forward to the inevitable battles with them. He isn't one to automatically attack anyone who reveals their affiliations with Nox (though if you attack him first, all bets are off). However, there are two groups of people that he hates with a passion, and has no qualms about attacking. Those affiliated with Team Rocket, and pirates. Both of these groups actions were responsible for various criminal acts around his beloved Vermilion City, and made his job (prior to joining Lux) more difficult. In fact it was because of these groups, that he joined Lux in the first place, to try and eliminate these types of people from the face of the world so that they can never threaten civilization again. It is for this reason that he strongly opposes Lux's truce with the majority of the pirate crews. When he is forced to work with them, he makes his disdain for them very clear. romance Having spent a large amount of his life on the sea, and away from any potential suitors, Preston figures that the time for romance in his life has long past. And he's perfectly fine with that. He doesn't actively pursue romantic relationships, and usually, rebuffs any such advances made on him. These kind of advances are few and far between anyway, since most of the people of the world are likely far too young to want a relation with him.
