Dive into the blue(Aris)

Xander wasn’t too happy about his current situation. Nox had asked him to take on a mission to stop a sub from launching its missiles at Pacifidlog. Well Xander wasn’t going to be alone but still this wasn’t in his area of expertise he was more suited to finding out about this stuff and telling other Nox agents to deal with it not do it himself. The outfit they had gotten for him did fit him, but man was it uncomfortable not like the clothing he wore normally how he wished he could be in his nice warm red coat and long black turtleneck, but alas he was forced to wear a uniform for a naval officer. The tranqulizer gun he was given was carefully hidden away as where his pokemon. He knew that in a fight inside of the sub he wouldn’t be able to use his larger pokemon because of the tight spaces so he only brought Berith, Stolas, Sallos, Ose, Zagan and Naberius with him he felt so bad that he had to leave Haagenti behind because he was his first pokemon.

Xander shook his head at the thought of having his first battle without his beloved Haagenti. That won’t happen unless we get caught and I know I won't mess up I just hope that whoever I’m suppose to be with doesn’t mess up. Xander looked around to see if his ally was anywhere to be found it was still a bit early, but he had hoped that this could be finished quickly and quietly and he could get back home. Seeing that no one was around he leaned against the very first lamp post on the dock to wait for his ally.

It wasn't often that she went on missions; in fact, she didn't think she had ever been on one before. But this was kind of important to her. Vermillion, a city rather close to her hometown of Saffron, was going to be sending a submarine soon, a submarine that was to shoot a missile at Pacifidlog Town. Why Lux cared so much about such a tiny little town was beyond her, but nonetheless, she had to stop it. With the aid of someone else, someone she didn't know; well, at the very least, this would be quite interesting. If only these uniforms were a bit better. Lux didn't seem to have much respect for women, judging by the skirt length.

Aris hoped that her first mission would go well, even though it seemed like a difficult one, she was confident it wouldn't be that tough. She knew how to lie to others, so that would come in useful here. That was when she reached the docks, and a moment after she did, she spotted a man glancing around, apparently looking for someone, and said man was dressed up in an outfit similar to hers. Except his, of course, was for males. "Hey. I suppose you're the one that's going to be working with me?" she questioned of him after she had approached him.

She had to admit, his choice of where to wait was a little conspicuous. He was supposed to be a naval officer or...whatever they were called, right? A seaman. They didn't just lean while they waited, especially if they were Lux. "I'm Aris and...ugh. This skirt. I hate it, it's far too short." she couldn't keep her thoughts to herself as she frowned.

Xander remained silent as a girl in a navel outfit came up and assume he was the other Nox operative. Xander stepped away from the lamppost and sighed at her comment about her skirt. "Nox shouldn't have sent someone so young looking on something like this." Xander had nothing against this girl he was just hoping to have someone who looked like they knew what they were doing because he sure as hell didn't. "It's nothing against you, but when I was told I was doing this I was expecting to be paired up with someone a bit older." Xander took out a bar of chocolate and took a bite out of it. "Oh well I guess Nox has it's reasons."



Xander took a step back and leaned against the lamppost again. “Before we head on in tell me what pokemon you have with you and any skills you have that could help with this mission.” Xander didn’t have high hopes for this mission after seeing his partner she seemed so young, but he never knew she might actually know what she is doing. This wasn’t going to be easy at all he just hoped that this girl had no quarrel with killing like he did. Some might call him a coward for never killing anyone, but really he just couldn’t do it. “Oh I’m Georg Faust by the way.”

Aris rose an eyebrow at the man, settling her arms against her chest as she frowned at him as well. "I'm just about 17, I'll have you know. I'm fairly sure that Lux allows people of that age to get into their army or navy. At the least, they'd allow someone of 18 years to do so, and I think I could pass as that," Aris pointed out, before glancing to the nearby port. So, that was where they were to be going once the mission was underway. She was not going to fail, not this time. Not like in those battles she had participated in; Lilycove had been the worst one of them all. She shook her head as she remembered it, before looking back to him

"And Nox does have its reasons. They're short on people, obviously. Not everyone can be a loyal member of Nox," Aris added, making sure all the while that while she spoke, no one was close enough to hear them. That was the last thing they needed, to get discovered by ordinary citizens. "Anyway. Tell me yours too. Mine are Froslass, Whimsicott, Scizor, Gardevoir, and Zorua. It's a pleasure to be working with you, Faust." she didn't bother to explain her skills.

What use would there be in doing that? Her best skill was in battling, and pretty much nothing else. A lady wasn't really taught anything else, after all. Though she supposed she was quite skilled in deception, too.

Xander smiled as he took another bite of bit at her choice of pokemon it was a good mix and none of them were too large to use on the ship. Xander took a step forward and turned towards the harbor. “At the moment I only have my Litwick, Houndour, Chingling, duskull, Deino and my Zorua. We should get going if we stay around any longer we might start to draw attention to ourselves.” Still her age bother him she wasn’t even eighteen and Nox sent her on a mission like this. Did Nox really have an issue with recruitment. I’m sure there are plenty of people who don’t want to bend to Lux’s demand.

Xander took another bite out of his chocolate before placing the rest away. Xander started to walk towards the submarine if there was one thing that he was sure of it was that the fake ID that Nox gave him for this mission would allow him to pass as one of the members of this submarine crew. As he arrived at the sub the two guards guarding it allowed Xander to pass by without any issue. Once inside he waited for Aris to catch up before he would tell her the plan.

Draw attention to themselves? She didn't really see how. They were just two Lux members having a little chat, she didn't see how that would be suspicious. And...now that she thought about it, being a Lux member, at least in the eyes of these people, meant she would be able to just carry her pokeballs around openly, without worrying about others seeing them. Which would honestly be a bit of a relief, really, because there weren't too many places to hide things on this outfit. Even so it'd probably be best to not make ALL of them obvious. After all, once they did start attacking, it would be useful to keep the enemy guessing about how many she had.

"Right," she said to him, despite the fact that she felt he was wrong, and watched as he went ahead. He got past the guards easily enough, and then it was her turn. They seemed to scrutinize her a bit more, probably because of her age, but her cool demeanor and carefully placed glares got the trick done. Before long she joined him on the submarine, a composed mask on her face. "What's the plan now?" she asked of him, making sure no others were close enough to hear before speaking.

Xander took out one of his pokeballs and opened it releasing his duskull. Xander looked at it and concentrated using his powers to communicate with it. His eyes glowed slightly blue as he sent his thoughts to his duskull. Sallos go find the gyarados and come back to me after you know where they are. The duskull just flew into a wall of the submarine and vanished looking for the gyarados. Xander looked back at Aris and gave her a serious look. “Anything you see me do that isn’t normal keep it to yourself. “ Xander didn’t want others to know about his psychic powers. He didn’t know if Aris knew what he did or if she saw him use his powers, but he didn’t want to take any chances.

“As for the plan my duskull is off looking for where they’re keeping the gyarados. I would like to take out the missiles and sink the sub after we kill the gyyarados, but we could try to steal the sub and take the Lux navel officers hostage as a bargaining tool for Lux to use later on. It would be more work..... ,but we wouldn’t risk killing as many people.” Xander really hoped that he wouldn’t have to kill anyone in this mission. “I really don’t care either way you can decide as we look for the missiles.” Xander turned away from Aris and started down a hallway, but before he could take five steps an older man in the same uniform stopped in front of Xander. “Hey you two come with me I need some help before we take off.”

Xander just saluted the man and said “yes sir” this wasn’t good he didn’t had wanted to avoid as much attention from the Lux officers as possible. However he had no choice but to follow this man’s orders.

Anything that wasn't normal? Now that was odd, wasn't it? She couldn't imagine just what he might mean by that, but nonetheless she gave him a small little nod of her head. Whatever it was that he was speaking up about, she had no doubt that it was for a good reason. Psychic powers, potentially. Or what if he was a ghost? Nah, that couldn't be. Ghosts weren't real, the only thing ghost-like were Pokemon, and she had never heard about humans that were ghosts.

Whatever the case, she had agree to it. Now all she had to do was be careful and make sure she actually recognized something when it happened. "I think the best thing we can do is to do things quietly. Get in, find out where the missiles are, disable them so that they're unable to be used or repaired, then kill the Gyarados. After that we have to get out of here quietly as well. Nox are said to be killers and terrorists and all sorts of other horrible things by Nox. If we killed everyone, we'd be proving them right. And taking captives would be more difficult than it's worth," Aris spoke up, while at the same time opening one of her pokeballs and releasing one of her own pokemon.

"Go after his Duskull, Aurora, and keep quiet," the teen advised her Frosslass, giving her a gentle pat on the head before the dual-type floated through the wall, following after the Duskull that had just departed. Right. With them looking for the missiles, all they had to do was find the Gyarados and...oh, well. Someone seemed to have spotted them. Aris resisted the urge to scowl, and instead saluted the man as well. "Yes sir!" she repeated after Faust, before following the man with him. "If you don't mind, sir, what is it you need help with?" she asked of him as they followed.
