The fractured, surely once-proud place looks like a diorama that suffered the brunt of its creators wrath. He can practically sense the discontent in the air as he steps over the unmarked northern border. The city is torn at its seams... Sirius thinks, feeling a twisted mix of empathy for those that had lost their land yet a strange zeal for the fact he came to this place for that very reason. Those without their homes are likely weak in their mind - more willing to have their eyes opened. The young man tightens the sleeves of his jacket around his waist and draws a deep breath before heading along the border near the woods, where he can see ashen smoke rising into the sky from barrel-fires dotting the way in slums that have been hurriedly set up to provide shelter for refugees who are the lucky ones of the tragedy that has taken place here. He keeps to the outside nearest the woods, moving slowly and watching others. He looks for the first people he will attempt to convert, or those that need help and may open themselves up if he shows them an act of kindness. "Do you need help?" he raises his voice to a pair of younger children rolling an oil drum from behind the flaps of a tent-like shelter. The children freeze and he approaches them with a small smile. "It's alright - I won't hurt you." He bends over and rolls it some more until they tell him to stop and tips it to stand it straight. They thank him, and he nods. "Arceus willed it." | [atrb=vAlign,top][atrb=width,125] [style=font-size: 14px; letter-spacing: 3px; text-transform: lowercase; margin-top: -20px;]Team, -- tags, lou as cavenaugh notes, [/style] [/style][style=font-size: 10px; padding: 10px; margin-top: -40px;]✲ AMB Tanz |
