His full name is Walter Brennan with no middle name. He prefers Wally but the little kids always call him Mr. B. BACKGROUND Born about 22 years ago on September 23 in the magical region of Hoenn in Petalburg City. His father is a mechanic/construction worker to the gym there and his mother a simple homemaker. He was not a very gifted child when it came to Pokemon and had to work twice as hard to be half as good as his friends. He was always a sickly young man who had a hard time doing certain things. He grew accustom to the life of medical aid through his childhood and it became a crutch for him to not go out on a journey. He didn't want to really leave his family but he wanted a friend. He found that thanks to the Gym Leader of Petalburg who had his son help the sickly young man catch his ralts. It was Ruby though who inspired him. He went along with Ruby and Sapphire because he really had no one else who had been nice to him. He was utterly friendless except for those two (and ralts of course) and seeing them going out and adventuring gave him the push he needed to try and be someone. He, along with Ruby and Sapphire, put down Team Aqua and Magma when they were young. To this day he takes very little credit in the trio seeing it as Ruby and Sapphire's doing more than his own. Like everyone he went through that awkward teenage phase where he had a crush on one of his friends but kept it to himself out of fear of rejection. He convinced himself that just being friends was good enough. Then after years of struggling as a trainer he found his passion... teaching kids. He always loved when the school kids came for a field trip or when new trainers got Pokemon. So what did the boy do? Hang out at the Pokemon Center, the nursery, the Pokemon school helping kids. OCCUPATION Nursery Aide; Wally loves kids and teaching them all about Pokemon and what he's learned from his travels and through his friends. ALLEGIANCE Nox; Wally is by default Nox because it keeps the kids in his region safe and it is what he knows. It also helps that Ruby sides with them since he usually goes along with Ruby 99.9% of the time. TRAITS [/style]

It was a wonderful place to live... if only he actually lived here. His cousin whom he stayed with for a good portion of childhood lived in another town while his parents stayed in Petalburg much of the time for work. Of course his cousin was visited often and he came home when he could but it just wasn't really the same as it was before. Wally was really just visiting home for a while, something fun to do before shipping off to find Ruby. It wasn't that he had anything against his family... well okay that wasn't totally true he wasn't really that into how clingy they could be at times and he knew it was just because they worried but he was an adult now not a small child. It was easier to determine what they were thinking unlike with certain other people. It also meant he could visit where he'd met Ralts... Maybe even visit Sapphire's father a town over or so... Possibly even Norman... after all he couldn't let the man who introduced him to Ruby and lent him a Pokemon to catch his first ever get away without a hug or something. Maybe he should make him a card even. Yes, in that aspect he still acted like he was ten years old minus the girls have cooties part. They just had mood swings and honestly reality was much scarier than when they were young and feared the dreaded cooties. A part of him was glad his family and Sapphire were the only girls he ever had to deal with growing up. The boy let his eyes wander around, he was outside the city technically by the tall grass just to the east of the city. On the other side was the man and his boat plus the forest. Over here of course was just very pretty. It was also farther away from the gym and Ruby's father Norman. He had nothing against Ruby's dad, he thought highly of the man actually. He just grew tired of work coming first a lot of the time with his own father that he looked up to Norman as the ideal dad. He knew his father worked so much to make other people happy and to pay for medical bills but it still sort of hurt. Without Norman he probably would never have met Ruby... Who is a great person and a good friend... one of the few he had. He looked down, Plus and Minus playing happily next to him by the taller grass. He couldn't help but smile a little at the two friends. He wasn't good at expressing his feelings around certain people, worried about saying something weird. He was always very worried about what Ruby thought of him. With Sapphire he had always known where he stood but Ruby was different. He missed Sapphire. Ruby was all he had left. There was the rustle of grass behind him, but he didn't look back.
