LUX: CIRO BLACKWELL I don't feel anything until i smash it up

FULL NAME Ciro Blackwell BACKGROUND Born in Fuschia City on June 26th, Ciro is now 24. He doesn't talk much about his childhood, and only the lucky hear enough about his family to know Ciro misses his younger brother. For some reason, though, he refuses to visit. OCCUPATION For some reason, Ciro wasn't taken too seriously when he listed himself as a Dark-type specialist. For now, Tamer fits. ALLEGIANCE It's somewhat easier to keep moving if you play by the rules, funnily enough. Ciro's not too involved yet (Vivi strongly protests the idea of it), and as a result as far as anything can be concerned would likely be considered a citizen of LUX. Who knows what he could get dragged into, though. TRAITS

Small yellow paws cling to his shirt, little claws biting through into his shoulder and back. The electric-type gives out a small sound, one of innocence and childhood that only reaches him because the creature is so close to his ear. Pikachu would be of no help against a ground-type specialist. All the same it comforted him, made it seem like even in war everything might be okay. The electric mouse wasn't a lucky charm, though. He wasn't a tool or a trinket or a weapon, he was a friend. Perhaps - now - the only one. The Lapras beneath him soaring across the water does not fit the same bill. She is a powerful creature, but at the end of the day she's a reward for a deed pulled from the hands of a scientist and little more. Red could tell that he was seconds away from having missed Terran, and there' s no time. It's not exactly helpful that the guy has an entire team out. It wouldn't hard to make one wrong move. If Red found one of the up and coming leaders of Hoenn Nox only to let him flee now, well, there would be no reward. Best to cut the head off of the snake now than let the enemy fester and grow. But Red had never killed before. He has fought viciously, has pushed his pokemon far past the limit of power required by league rules. He has captured, even maimed, but no one has died by his own hand. But now in the face of war that's just something to prove that he is better, isn't it? It will prove that he is a man, will prove that he is stronger and knows more and Red finds himself wanting that. He shouts the order over raging winds - or is that just the cost of rocketing across the ocean? - and one thing a truly practiced trainer gleans that has proved faithful are strong lungs and coherence. The lapras knows what he has ordered, but she hesitates. She has never killed a man or pokemon, not yet, but even she sees from afar the means of escape. The reluctant Ice Beam has already charged but with clarity she aims for the claydol, not the human being. Red would curse if it was worth the straining of the voice, but it's not and he's already reaching for a second pokeball. An orange dragon erupted from the red light, long wings beating, introducing the stench of brimstone to salt ocean air. The first time Red had tried to fly with the Charizard, he'd been thrown face and shoulder first into grass and dirt and filth. Now they were fluid, but for all the heat there was no kinship, nothing but cold. So far they were outnumbered, but it would be dumb to call on any of the others before they hit ground. Red thought he was out for blood.
