where has the shale been?

Some of you might have noticed the lack of activity/work/what have you these past few days and wondered where I've been. I wish I could say that I was out having the best few days ever, but that wouldn't be true, far from it, in fact. At around 3:30 on Friday I was sent home from work because I was in too much pain to function and was starting to get nauseous. An appalling lack of sleep and a good deal more pain later found me in the hospital early Saturday morning (which is saying something, as I once broke my ankle and refused to go to the hospital).

While I am out now and have been recovering (or at least winding down and sleeping) with the help of powerful narcotics (which I've been trying to avoid taking too often because they make me more nauseous than I already am), I'm not yet recovered enough to make much use of myself.

I will be back and busy as soon as humanly possible, you may even see me on from time to time in the next few days as I try to distract myself, but I wouldn't expect overly much work or posting to get done, as the Percocet makes me kind of muzzy headed
