FULL NAME Augustus Johan Krebs. He also goes by the titles Mr. Krebs, Chairman Krebs, and Administrator Krebs BACKGROUND Augustus Johan Krebs was born 62 years ago on October 11, in Saffron City. Born to into a life of wealth and luxury, Augustus had it all from an early age. Unlike many of his wealthy peers however, Augustus was very much aware that there was a distinct possibility that even the wealthiest of people had the potential to go broke, and became determined to do everything in his power to make sure that the wealth of his family was preserved. Augustus attended a prestigious university, and earned a degree in finance. As he reached adulthood, Augustus moved to Celadon City, with a large amount of help from his parents, founded the financial company Yutopyan Finances. Although the company had few customers, profits quickly grew, as the few customers that the company did have were very wealthy, as the financial planners were among the best that money could buy, and charged extremely high prices for their brilliant planning. Running this company is what made up most of Augustus's life until he reached age 57. It was at this time, that he received word of the Pokemon League forming a new organization called Lux, in order to stamp out the crime and indecency which had plagued the world for so long. However, what drew Augustus to the Lux cause was the word that they would implement policies which would favor the rich, and would assist them in maintaining their luxurious lifestyles. Impressed by his decades long experience with finances, Lux offered Augustus a spot on their council as a financial planner, and offered his company control of Celadon City to help mold it in the vision of a paradise for the rich. Augustus immediately accepted the offer, and had a seat on the council for the next 4 years. Augustus had a very good relationship with Lux's former President Xander, who gave him a free hand to do pretty much whatever he wanted with Celadon City. During this time, Augustus initiated a series of deportations and secret executions, which effectively purged the city of its poor and poverty stricken population. While the original founders of Lux had sought to create a habitat for the wealthy, they had never wanted to take it as far as Augustus did. These purges eventually stopped, much to Augustus' displeasure with the ascension of President Blaine. However what angered Augustus even more was when under Blaine's administration, Augustus was removed from council (though he retained his position as Celadon Administrator), and was forced to somewhat relax Celadon's strict, anti-immigration policies, which have (in his view) had severely adverse effect on the lifestyle of Celadon's citizens, though most people would find the term 'severe' laughable in this case OCCUPATION Augustus is the Chairman and CEO of the Yutopya Corporation, the company which runs Celadon City. He is responsible for maintaining the high standard of living for his citizens, and has done so by implementing strict anti-immigration policies that keep the poor from settling here. ALLEGIANCE Augustus has firmly alligned with Lux. After all, they were the ones who transformed Celadon City into a shining example of what a Lux city should be. A paradise devoid of poverty, and war. However, he holds little love for the current Lux administration, and sees them as constantly interfering with his policies to maintain the luxurious lifestyle of his citizens TRAITS |
