[atrb=background,http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a285/Kyo-Sun/xanbg-1.png] The new job he had been presented with was not an ideal one, that was for sure; however, he wasn’t about to turn down the chance for more power. Now that he was the city admin of Viridian City, Lux’s military base, he was the one calling the shots on how people were trained. He would like to think he improved the system they had, where everyone did the same training, preparation and drills, when he changed the system to target strengths of the individuals. If one man (or woman) showed a bright mind for tactics, they were put on a path to become a tactical assistant, not a fighter, where as the man who was far too muscled for his own good was put through thousands upon thousands of combat skills, training battles and the like to further strengthen his combat readiness. Xander was proud that he had come in, got the respect he deserved rather quickly by easily mopping the floor with one of the toughest recruits there (Fortis helping out a lot there). Despite his status around the camp, and his successes, the job was daunting on the young, twenty year old male, who was constantly suppressing who he really was. The workload was taking its toll if the bags freshly collecting under his not as sharp green eyes where any indication. This was exactly why the young sentinel was taking a stroll through the extravagant nature reserve Viridian boasted. The once forest was more like an immaculately manicured garden. The trees were perfectly filled with leaves, the grass cut at the same level everywhere and the flowers bloomed as if they were in a pasture, not under trees. The Bug-type Pokémon were all driven out, and all that remained were the occasional Butterfree, Pidgey, and Oddish. The sound of the breeze whispering through the leaves was pleasant on Xander’s pounding head. He stopped, almost in the middle of a path and closed his eyes. He was neatly dressed in a slim fitted, white suit with a green tie that matched his eyes. His blonde hair was freshly cut, but he was not wearing perfume because it would have just made his headache worse. Sighing heavily, the male raised his hand to the bridge of his nose and pinched on it lightly with his index finger and thumb, trying to ease the pain of his throbbing head. “Ugh…” He groaned softly, the air around his lips visible in the crisp fall air. Autumn colors surrounded the boy, making his clothing pop against the array of oranges and yellows around him. The aromas and near silence was doing wonders for him, but with his eyes closed, he had no way of knowing he wasn’t alone. It was only a matter of time before whoever it was converged on him.
