The grape vine was ripe with information nowadays, and the rather young sentinel was intrigued to hear of a possible attack on the Olivine City Lighthouse. Wasn’t the Olivine City gym leader apart of Nox? It was all very interesting too him, so he didn’t wait to be picked to go defend the place – oh no, he volunteered. For one, yes he was just plain interested in this rumor, and how it was going to play out. Yet, maybe even more importantly, he had some members of his party that were itching for an acceptable fight. They hadn’t been in any recently, and they were beyond restless. Namely, Fortis and Malum. Fortis just wanted to bash things while Malum was finding pranks to be getting old recently. He’s been resorting to more and more dangerous, conniving tricks that irritated his trainer.
The solution? Go to war, obviously. It was the logical thing to do in Xander’s position. He had heard this room, so why not get to the bottom of it and sign up for the extra guard duty they were putting in place around the monument?
This was the reason he ended up in Johto. Traveling was something he enjoyed doing, especially whenever he was able to fly somewhere. He flew on the back of his trusted eagle this time, and he happened to still be situated astride Fortis.
“Brrrrrrrav!”

The dipped low, soaring above the ground. Russet, navy and tan feathers fluttered in the wind, dancing along the Braviary’s thirteen-foot wingspan. The giant eagle was a glorious sight to behold, and a terrifying one if you happened to be on Nox’s side of the playing field.
Green eyes peered through the protective goggles, trying to see what was going on around him. He was hoping he hadn’t missed the party yet, but there was no telling. He looked left and right, but saw nothing around this side of the beach. He pulled Fortis up higher into the air to get a better scope of the surrounding area.
