When the truth arrives you won't believe your eyes. He's triumphs pessimist, but he's no less content. THE MAN BEHIND THE MYTH Silver-tongued and ever smiling, the president of The Republic is, above all things, an idealist. His speeches are pretty, they speak of peace, and prosperity, and progress. Many of those in Unova see him as savior, the man who helped to pull them from the war's grasp, and he has a knack for keeping the region out of trouble via a web of complex alliances. In truth, Jacobi is a simple creature. He is drawn toward power. He craves control and lies without any apparent effort, but such things always come with a price, and some old habits die hard. Needless to say, what you see is not always what you get. FRIENDS There are few whom Jacobi considers friends, but a great number who would curry favor with the man and count themselves among his confidants, especially these days. In short, he tends to have more allies and fair-weather friends than he does true friends. Take that as you will. ENEMIES A Former Lux councilman turned promoter of peace, Jacobi has enemies to spare. The Republic (and his lofty position within it) will, no doubt, serve to drive some of these folks out into the light of day. Assassination plot ideas, rivalries, etc. welcome. LOVERS The spotlight can be a lonely place, indeed. Better, by far, with a partner, but things being what they are, Jacobi has little time for or interest in romance. Perhaps that will change as time progresses, or perhaps it already has and you'll be something of a cover, a convenient one night stand to direct the attention of the vultures from those he truly cares about. |
